F1 weekend in Monaco might be my favourite few days of the entire summer calendar. It’s fast paced, glamorous, and honestly a styling challenge, you’re moving from the paddock to a yacht to a pool day to a party, sometimes all in the same 24 hours. Here’s exactly what I wore for each moment.
I wore a silky green Chloé dress flowy enough to survive hours on your feet, still polished enough for the paddock paired with Chloé sandals, and I carried my Alaïa bag with it, which ended up being the perfect contrast piece against all that green
For the second day of the race, I switched it up and wore a Frame set. Exactly what I needed after a full weekend of dressing up: something easy to move in that still felt considered.
For the day we watched the race from the yacht, I went full Céline. Blue shorts, a white top with thin blue stripes that had a proper sailor feel to it (felt almost too on the nose for a day on the water, in the best way), and flats with a low heel, because a yacht deck and stilettos have never once been a good combination, no matter how good they look on the hanger.
Before the chaos of race day really kicks in, there’s usually one slower morning, this year that was a pool day at the hotel, and I lived in a Pucci set. Bold print, easy to move in, and honestly the kind of piece that does all the work for you when you want to look put together without trying.
For the first night of celebrating, I wore a Jean Paul Gaultier set structured, a little unexpected, exactly what a Monaco night out calls for. This is where I go bolder than I would anywhere else, something about the city gives you permission to be a bit more extra with your fashion choices.
And for the last night out, a mango dress in light blue and yellow. Genuinely one of my favourite fits from the entire weekend. It’s not a colour combination I’d usually reach for, but it somehow felt exactly right against the Monaco backdrop, half sunset, half harbour lights.
Between the paddock, the yacht, the pool and the parties, Monaco is a full wardrobe workout in 72 hours. I don’t overthink it though. I pick pieces that each have one clear job, pack accordingly, and let the city do the rest.
Monaco is chaos in the best way and honestly, the outfit planning is half the fun.
