I get asked constantly how I keep up my energy with the schedule I have, and the honest answer is: I don’t do anything extreme. It’s a handful of small, consistent habits that actually move the needle.

Movement I actually enjoy:

I stopped forcing myself into workouts I dreaded years ago, and it’s the best decision I’ve made for my consistency.

Right now my week looks like:

2x Reformer Pilates for posture and that long, lean feeling

1x Tennis because it doesn’t feel like “exercise,” i just love it

Daily walks! non-negotiable, even on the busiest days

What I actually take

My supplement routine genuinely hasn’t changed in over a year:

  • A daily greens blend, first thing, before coffee
  • Magnesium in the evening, this alone changed my sleep
  • Collagen, consistently, not just when I remember( it’s just an alarm please)

Sleep is the foundation, not an afterthought

I used to treat sleep as the thing that happens after everything else is done. Now I protect it like I protect a work meeting. My phone charges outside the bedroom, and I try to be off screens a good 30 minutes before I actually go to sleep. It’s simple, but it’s the habit that affects literally everything else.

Food rules I actually follow

Nothing restrictive — I don’t believe in that long-term. But I do try to:

  • Start the day with protein, not just carbs
  • Eat the colourful thing before the beige thing
  • Never skip meals to “save up” for dinner, always backfires

The Real Takeaway

None of this is glamorous, and that’s sort of the point. Wellness that lasts isn’t about doing more, it’s about doing a few things consistently, even when life gets busy. That’s what’s actually kept me going this summer.
