#LaPlage with Longchamp
When Longchamp invited me to Portugal alongside more than 50 influencers and creators from across Europe and Latin America, I assumed it would be another collection launch. What I didn’t expect was an experience that felt so immersive, creative, and perfectly aligned with the brand’s universe.
The setting was Comporta, one of Europe’s most sought-after summer destinations and the backdrop chosen by Longchamp to unveil La Plage, a collection inspired by the carefree spirit of coastal living, endless beach days, and the effortless elegance that defines the French maison.
Just over an hour from Lisbon, Comporta moves at a completely different pace. No mega yachts, no paparazzi, no scene to perform for. Just wild beaches, sand dunes, rice fields, pine forests, and a relaxed atmosphere that instantly makes you slow down.
We stayed at Sublime Comporta, one of Portugal’s most beautiful hotels, where contemporary luxury meets nature, design, and thoughtfully curated experiences that naturally encourage creativity.
Our days were filled with sunrise sound healing sessions, barefoot walks on the beach, pottery workshops, long seafood lunches by the ocean, and sailing along the Atlantic coast. Rather than a traditional influencer trip, it felt like an invitation to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with whatever inspired each of us most.
One of my favourite parts of the experience was sharing it with creators from different countries, cultures, and creative backgrounds. I met women whose work I’ve followed and admired for years, and it was fascinating to see how the same collection could be interpreted in completely different ways through each person’s unique style and perspective.
In an industry where everything often moves incredibly fast, it was refreshing to spend meaningful time with people who understand the creative process, even if we all approach it differently.
